Breeds with fast-growing coats (like Cockapoos, Bichons, and Poodles) may need grooming every 4 to 6 weeks. Short-coated breeds can often stretch to 8 to 10 weeks between visits. We are happy to recommend a grooming schedule tailored to your dog.

Absolutely. Nervous and anxious dogs are our speciality. We work at your dog's pace, use gentle handling techniques, and keep things calm and quiet. Our home-based salon means no loud kennels or unfamiliar dogs around. Many of our most anxious customers have become regulars who actually enjoy their grooms.

Our Snips Signature Cut (full groom) includes a relaxing deep-clean bath, high-velocity blow dry, precision haircut and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and a basic health check. We use professional-grade, dog-safe products and take our time to make sure your pup looks and feels amazing.

We recommend bringing your puppy in for their first grooming introduction from around 12 weeks of age (after their second vaccination). These early sessions are all about building positive associations with the grooming process. We take it slow, use lots of praise and treats, and never push a puppy beyond what they are comfortable with.
